As you know the benefits and allowances available to you are frequently changing. In addition, they can be extremely complex to understand. To help keep you well informed SBC provides a subscription service which is totally independent.

The service gives you the following benefits:-

• A personal copy of SBC's 2-monthly "Benefits Update" bulletin, which is aimed at keeping you up to date with some of the ever-changing benefit, financial and welfare information.
• A personal copy of SBC's Annual Information Bulletin. This is a convenient summary of all the main tax and benefit rates and allowances which normally change in April of each year.
• Free access to SBC's telephone "helpline", during office hours, and written advice service. Here you will get answers to your personal benefit, tax and welfare-type queries. Please remember that SBC is happy to extend this to your immediate family also.

 

To cover the cost of all these services there is a small annual charge of £31. So, if you would like to subscribe, please e-mail SBC with your details and on receipt of your payment, you will immediately be added to the mailing list in time for the next "Benefits Update" bulletin.
